Wilfred C. Dobbins, 90

                    Together Again

Wilfred C. Dobbins, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Monday,
December 9, 2024.
He was born in Grantsville, West Virginia on November 17, 1934 to the late
Calvin and Eva Dobbins, moving to Barberton at the age of 17. He served in
the Army Reserves and retired from Babcock and Wilcox as an Inspector after
43 years of service. Wilfred was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple. He
was a devoted husband and loved spending time with his family especially his
grand kids.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Carol Sue.
Wilfred is survived by his daughters, Sharon (David) Probert and Dianna
(Greg) Wertz; son, Tim (Michele) Dobbins; grandchildren, Donald Wertz,
Tiffany Barton, Mason Dobbins, Olivia Dobbins and Caroline Dobbins;
brother, Hoy Dobbins; along with other relatives and friends.
Wilfred’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at
1 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave.,
Barberton 44203 with Pastor Larry Knight officiating. Burial to follow at
Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until
time of his service.
