Carol June Handwerk (Nee Garrett )

My wonderful mother , grandmother , sister and friend passed away Jan, 2nd, 2025 peacefully . She is preceded in death by her parents , Walter and Happy Garrett , husband Dale Handwerk and ten siblings . She is survived by her daughter Erika Handwerk (Donnie) , son Sean Handwerk, (Edna), grandsons Michael & Cody, brother Cordell Garrett and fur babies Stormy , Bella , Maddie and Keke.  Carol June worked her whole life to raise her children and retire from the Maricopa, Az Post Office. She did go to college and at the age of 50 made the Dean’s list. Carol was known for her compassion for helping others and had a very wicked sense of humor.  Carol loved to cook, dance and tell jokes, she did not want a funeral service but she loved the idea of a Celebration of Life.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Sat , June 7th from 12 to 6pm at the North Lawrence Fish & Game Club located at 15325 Lawmont St NW, North Lawrence, Ohio 44666. Please feel free to join us to celebrate the life of an amazing woman and mother, Carol June Handwerk.
