Betty Williams Murphy, 91

Betty Williams Murphy, 91, went home to be with the Lord on
Monday, March 2, 2026. She was born February 7, 1935, in
Cucumber, West Virginia and came to Barberton, Ohio in 1953.
She was a member of the Barberton Church of God for many
years. She was also a member of the Barberton Women’s Club, Red
Hat Society, and Barberton Moose Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Amelia
Young; husbands, Leonard Williams and John Murphy; son, Mike
Williams; along with brothers, sisters, so many loved ones and
friends.
Betty is survived by her sons, Charles (Debbie) Williams and
Jeffrey (Dallas) Williams, and her daughter, Melissa Hooser;
numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and
friends.
Betty’s funeral will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026, 12 Noon at
the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave.,
Barberton 44203 with Chuck Erbe officiating. Burial to follow at
Greenlawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Tuesday,
March 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Mom loved her kitty “Cracker Jack” and she also loved her family
and friends. She is now in the Kingdom of God and we will miss her
dearly until we meet again. 1 st Corinthians 13:13.
