Elizabeth Ann Bendall Wilson

Elizabeth Ann Bendall Wilson, of Barberton, Ohio, passed away
Saturday, December 23, 2023 in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Elizabeth was born in the west side of Cleveland, Ohio to Albert
Charles and Thelma Mary (Regan) Bendall in 1944. She was
educated at St. Colman grade school; Lourdes Academy High
School; and Notre Dame College, all in Cleveland. She married
Craig Harrington Wilson on May 21, 1993, at Immaculate Heart of
Mary Church in Cuyahoga Falls. She retired from the U.S.
Government after 31 and a half years of service, working in
Cleveland, Lakewood, Detroit and Akron.
Elizabeth was an involved and energetic volunteer and
community leader: St. Augustine’s, Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Immaculate Heart Saint Vincent de Paul, St. Augustine SVDP; East
Central Ohio Mensa; Friends of the Barberton Library; Magic City
Kiwanis and Ohio Kiwanis Division 16; Barberton Area Community
Ministries; Relay for Life Pub Crawl, Christmas Walk, Farmers
Market, Car Shows, Clean Up Barberton Day, Drug Take Back,
Mum Fest, and Salvation Army.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, brother, and husband.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Vivian D. Bendall of Tupelo,
Mississippi; two stepchildren, Dawn E. Wilson (Mitch V. Harper) of
Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Andrea (Dr. Dan) Korow of Cedaredge,
Colorado and Laveen, Arizona; and one step-grandchild, Joshua
Korow, a new member of the U.S. Army.
Special thanks to Elizabeth’s cousin, Linda M. Hurley of Medina,
Ohio, who provided hours of love, help, support, and nursing
knowledge for Elizabeth during the last few months.

Per Elizabeth’s wishes, there will be no calling, services, or meal.
Privately later, Elizabeth and Craig will rest at Ohio Western
Reserve National Cemetery.
For donations, Elizabeth asked that you consider Barberton Area
Community Ministries.
Elizabeth wished to thank all those who volunteered with her. She
enjoyed working with you and your friendships. She also said that
moving to Barberton was one of the best things in her life.
