Carleen Gainer, 74

Carleen Gainer, 74, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 with her husband, daughter, and sister Brenda by her side.  Carleen was born on January 14, 1950 to the late Carl and Molly Parsons. She graduated from Norton High School in 1968, worked as a caregiver for the elderly, and enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, trips to the casinos, and shopping.  Her greatest joys in life were her daughter, step-daughter and grandchildren along with animals of all kinds.  Carleen was loved by all due to her infectious sense of humor and willingness to always help others in need.
Carleen was preceded in death by sisters Joyce Backherms and Janet Dockery, brother Jack Rodgers, nieces Judy Ruth and Shelly, and nephews Roy, Dale, Robert and Jerry Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years James (Jack) Gainer, daughter Victoria (Michael) Goff, step-daughter Paula (Scott) McDonald, sisters Joan (Russ) Thompson, Brenda (Emmett) Diehl, Donna Parsons, niece Tonya Parsons, and nephews Louis (Christene) Diehl, Anthony (Michelle) Dellarciprete, and Emmett Diehl. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews Molly, Tiffany, Kayla, Katlynn, Vivienne, Kyle, Evan and Anthony.  She leaves behind her proudest and most loved grandchildren Kirsten, Lauren, Dylan, Will and Alivia.
