Lena Frances (Gardner) Fidler, 92

                   Together Again

Lena Frances (Gardner) Fidler

The Lord blessed us with Lena Frances (Gardner) Fidler on May 1, 1932
and called her home at the age of 92 on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
Lena entered into rest along, side her Beloved husband, Joseph Frederick
Fidler of 49 years; her son, David Fidler; her mother and father; stepfather;
three sibling and many other friends.
She leaves behind two sons, James (Lilly) and John Fidler; a daughter,
Sherry Fidler; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends she always thought of as family
who all love her fiercely and whom she loved fiercely in return. She was a light
that filled the darkness with her love and generosity, her eyes only seeing the
good in everyone.
Lena was an active member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church for many
years regularly volunteering her time. For those that wish to send condolences
we ask that you make a contribution to your local Food Pantry or Soup
Kitchen in her honor.
Calling hours will be Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 12 Noon to 1 p.m. at
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 591 W. Hopocan Ave., Barberton with a
memorial service immediately following with The Rev. Dr. Michael Petrochuk
officiating.

Gram aka Tweety (a nickname given by her late husband my grandfather) was my saving grace my entire life. Losing her will be felt for many years to come. She had the soul of an angel….the most loving, kind, forgiving person I have ever met. If she knew you, she loved you and if you knew her you couldn’t help but love her back. She was 92 years young and is now free of her earthly body to rest with grandpa.
