Driver dies, passenger injured after vehicle rolls in Barberton

BARBERTON  A driver was killed after the vehicle the motorist was driving hit a pole and rolled several times at around 1:30 p.m. Dec. 22 in the 400 block of Wooster Road W, according to Barberton Police Officer Marty Eberhart.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger was extricated by rescue personnel and taken to an area hospital. 

The case is under investigation by the Summit Metro Crash Response Team and the Summit Medical Examiner’s Office.
