Lillian Ann (Kovac) Seely, 93

Lillian Ann (Kovac) Seely, born on March 3, 1931, in Barberton, Ohio, passed away
peacefully on December 26, 2024, in her beloved hometown at the age of 93.

A devoted caregiver and healer, Lillian pursued her calling as a Registered Nurse with
passion and excellence. She earned her nursing degree through Akron City Hospital
and The University of Akron, embarking on a distinguished career that spanned
decades. Her service included roles at Visiting Nurse Services, Akron City Hospital, and
Wadsworth Rittman Hospital. Through her dedication to compassionate care, Lillian
made a lasting impact on countless lives.

Lillian’s zest for life extended far beyond her profession. An avid athlete, she embraced
activities such as soccer, softball, and skiing with enthusiasm and joy. Her love for
sports reflected her vibrant spirit and unyielding energy—a hallmark of her remarkable
life. She was also an accomplished pianist, songstress and lover of classical music.

She is eternally cherished by her two sisters, Janet Campbell and Barbara Richardson;
her three daughters: Stephanie Seely, Rebecca Davis, and Karen Rishel; and her four
grandchildren: Raven Gabielle Lopez, Logan Lopez, Sage Richards, and Bryce
Richards. Lillian cherished time spent with family, especially visits with her grandchildren
in New Mexico. Her legacy lives on through the family she adored and the many lives
she touched as both a nurse and a friend.
