William (Bill) H. Strossman Sr.

It is with great sadness that the family of William (Bill) H. Strossman Sr. announces his passing on Thursday, December 12, 2024 in Venice, Florida.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn and his brother Jack.. He is survived by his sons Bill Jr. (Dee); Greg (Lori); grandchildren, Brad (Tiffany), Rachael (Jeric), Nicole, Carolyn, and great grandchildren Mason and Cassiel. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy (Robert) and his brother James (Karen). Bill was born in Buffalo, New York, attended the University of Maine at Orono, and was in the United States Navy. He was a draftsman by trade and worked at Babcock & Wilcox and General Tire & Rubber, retiring from the latter in 1987. He resided in Norton, Ohio for many years and, in later years, Venice, Florida. He will be forever remembered as a devoted, cheerful, caring family man, always with a smile on his face. He was present for his family and friends, always happy to listen and to teach them a few things about trains and planes. We will miss him greatly.

The family is hosting a service in the Greenlawn Cemetery chapel on March 8 at 11 am.
