Barberton showcases students’ creativity at annual festival

BARBERTON  Students’ creativity is in the spotlight and on display this Saturday.

The community is invited to celebrate the arts in Barberton City Schools and also see what students have been up to at the annual Tri-Arts Festival 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at Barberton High School.

The entire school is buzzing with things to see, listen to and even be a part of. Artwork is in the grand staircase area by primary up to high school students. Make sure to stop by the interactive art display. 

In the main gym at 9 a.m., bands will perform including sixth, seventh and eighth grades, symphonic band, wind ensemble and combined bands 6-12. 

Barberton Primary Second Graders perform in the theater at 10:15 a.m. and Barberton Intermediate is in the theater at 10:45 a.m. Barberton Middle School Magic Juniors Show Choir is at 11:15 a.m. and combined choirs of BIS, BMS and BHS will be in the theater at 11:45 a.m. Listen to combined BHS choirs, concert choirs, ladies ensemble, men’s ensemble and BHS Magic Singers Show Choir,
