Jennie Lynn Goble (Thompson), 65

Jennie Lynn Goble (Thompson), 65, of Creston, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2026.

Born on July 19, 1960, in Wadsworth, Ohio, Jennie spent many years making a home in Norton before later residing in Creston. She lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to her family, touching the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Jennie found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved working in her yard, taking peaceful nature walks, spending time fishing, caring for her beloved cat, Callie, and attending weekly Bible study. More than anything, Jennie treasured the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate their milestones, share a laugh, or simply enjoy being together.

Jennie will be remembered for her loving heart, generous spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering kindness. She had a remarkable way of making others feel welcomed, supported, and cared for. Whether offering a helping hand, words of encouragement, or simply being present, Jennie made a lasting impact on the lives of so many.

She is lovingly survived by her parents, Jack and Rose Thompson; her sister, Diane (Don) Brown; her children, Mark (Cierra) Goble Jr. and Katie (Charlie) Chuppa; and her cherished grandchildren, Landen Goble, Greyson Goble, Kylan Goble, and Chase Bagnato. She also leaves behind many extended family members, including her nieces and nephews, dear friends, and all who were blessed to know and love her.

Jennie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mark Goble Sr.; her brother, Pete “Jack” (Kim) Thompson; and her sister, Beth (Dave) Cupp.

Jennie’s unexpected passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her. While her family grieves this tremendous loss, they find comfort in the memories she created, the love she gave so freely, and the example she set through a life of faith, compassion, and selflessness. Her legacy will live on through the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
