Dinah A. Waid, 66

Dinah A. Waid, age 66, passed away August 19, 2023.

She was born in Barberton, OH on October 28, 1956, to the late Sherman & Violet Gregory. She was a lover of gardening and flowers, except white flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, drawing, and dancing. Dinah was a hard worker, fighter, loving wife, and devoted mother & grandmother.

Preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Oliver Waid; step father-in-law, William Whitby; sisters, Linda & Janet Thomas, and Ina Daugherty; brothers, Carl, Gary, Wayne, and Jerry Gregory; brothers- in-law, Tim Daugherty, and Rick Elfrink.

Dinah is survived by her husband, Kenny Waid; children, Melissa (Dave) Belkey, Eric (Christin) Fern, Sona Waid, and Kenneth (Laura) Waid; mother-in-law, Bernice Whitby; sisters-in-law, Carol (Jerome) Denton, Kim (Karen) Elfrink, Kathy (Jonny) Supple, and Ann Gregory; grandchildren, Austin, Gunnar & Lanie Belkey, Nathan Wodicka, Kenneth & Tyler Waid, and Violet & Bryer Fern; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Funeral Services will be held on MONDAY, August 28, 2023, at 12:00pm at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00-12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.
