Thelma Cooper, 96

Thelma Cooper, 96, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 18,
2026. She was born in Joker, West Virginia on April 30, 1930, to the late
Theodore and Rutherford Buck and was the oldest of twelve children. She was
a resident of Clinton for 63 years.
Thelma retired from Wright Tool and was a member of Barberton First
Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph. Thelma is survived by her
children, Gary (Pat), Mike (Penni) and Nancy (Rodney) Kelly; grandchildren,
Angela (Joe), Amanda, Andrea (Mitch), Heath (Amy), Brandon and Bethany
(Justin); great-grandchildren, Samantha (Josh), Jacob, Alexis, Taylor,
Brecken and Maelyn; great-great-grandson, Dean; siblings, Denzyl, Donald,
Charles, Delbert and Delma; brother-in-law, Ronnie Whipkey; along with
other family members and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Pleasant
Pointe for the care and support that Thelma and her family received.
Thelma’s funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 12 Noon
at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave.,
Barberton 44203 with Dave Fuller officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn
Memorial Park. Calling hours will be on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 4 to 7
p.m. and also one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.
