Robert “Bob” Lee Lashinske, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
Robert was born Wednesday, May 17, 1944.  He was a dedicated employee and leader for over 60 years.  In his retirement he worked for Barberton Police Dept. as a crossing guard at West Elementary School. He loved kids and always had a smile for every child and parent. Bob’s greatest joys in life were his faith and his family. He was a proud member of the United States Army; and he loved coaching, playing sports and fitness.
Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda; brothers, Bill and Rudy; sisters, Debbie and Judy; and his grandson, Colton. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Cheryl; siblings, John (Linda), Denise (Tim), and David (Carla); children, Vince (Lynne), Lisa (Todd), Dianne (Jon), Jason, Misty (Rod), Rob, and Scott; grandchildren, Brady (Anna), Ryan (Kelly), Dylan (Kayla), Luke (Morgan), Logan (Cameron), Jayce, Martezs, Gary (Nicole), Danelle (Dave), Kayla (Justin), CJ (Victoria), Gabby (Eddie), Zac, Hayley (Nate), Gage (Selena), Malachi, Jannessy, Josh, Lillian, Salena, and Shaun; 17 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm, Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, Ohio 44203, with Pastor Mike Cope Officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Robert ‘s final resting place will be Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Tuesday at 1:45 pm.
